A new pattern

I saw this pattern and I tried to resist it, I really did. I already have a few, ahem, patterns in my plunder/guest room. I didn't need another pattern, but look at that bear hat/teddy bear/pajama ensemble - how could I resist?

The poor pattern is half a century old and I actually have the gall to wake it from its folded tissue slumber and use it to make the hat. Baby Jack has plenty of pajamas, and I may make the bear someday, but I needed to get that hat going right away.

Poor Jack, I already put him in an odd assortment of hats. There's the neon yellow hat (so he won't get lost on the playground at school - not that he would I'm just a freak), the red fleece devil horns hat, and an assortment of knitted hats he is forced to endure. You only have a small window of opportunity to put your children in ridiculous headgear, if you don't grab it when you can all of a sudden they're five and won't go along with the devil horns and think of the fun you will have missed!
