Assembly line malfunction

As you can see, I am very good at starting projects. Finishing is another matter entirely.
Here is a visual of my crafting to do list. Starting from the top: baby blanket for one of the aforementioned twins (yes, they are now over 5 months old), two aprons for some adorable 3-year-olds, recycled sweater kitty for one of my own boys, a hat from one of my recently acquired vintage patterns, and the grey alpaca mitts stuck there in the middle. Only the recycled sweater kitty qualifies as a holiday gift, the rest of the Christmas gifts are still in my head and haven't made it into production yet.
The cold virus that decided to move in and get comfortable at our house has not been evicted. We are usually very successful at isolating an illness with one, or at the very worst two of us, but this one is just starting with the fifth member of the family. Ugh, reading about other people's mundane illnesses is horribly boring (the only thing worse is other people's dreams, unless you are in them, of course) so I will spare you further pain.
While I was nursing the sick and feverishly writing memos (and replacing the furnace, did I mention our furnace was condemned?) last week I did come across some fun patterns, which I will post tomorrow.
I know! Pictures of my new sewing patterns, now that's riveting stuff!
